Theofania was born in Uster in 2013. At the age of six, she discovered her love for the cello. Since 2022, she has been studying cello with Payam Taghadossi at the Zakhar Bron School of Music in Zurich.
Theofania is a first prize winner at numerous national and international competitions. As a soloist, she won first prize at the Grand Prix Virtuoso Bonn 2023 international competition. In 2021 and 2023, she won first prize at the Zurich Youth Music Competition.
With the Amabile Trio, consisting of Tatjana Filimonova and Sophie Gringolts, young violin students from the Zakhar Bron School of Music, she won first prizes at four national and international competitions: Grand Prize Virtuoso Paris 2022, Zurich Youth Music Competition 2022, Rising Stars 2023 (Riga, Latvia), and both the preliminary and final rounds of the Swiss Youth Music Competition 2022.
Theofania attended masterclasses with Claire Oppert in 2022. She greatly enjoys performing and has participated in various concerts. She played with the Trio Amabile at the Ming Classics in Zurich, at the Verkehrshaus in Lucerne, at the Zunfthaus zur Waag (Children Playing for Children) in Zurich, and at the Dolder Grand Hotel with the Gringolts Quartet.
