Record-Breaking Success: 19 Prizes Won at the SYMC Entrada 2024

Last week, at the Swiss Youth National Music Competition Entrada 2024, our students clinched an impressive array of prizes, including ten 1st, four 2nd, and five 3rd across violin solo, cello solo, and chamber music categories.

Three days of March, Friday 22nd, Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th, will be remembered by many young Swiss musicians. On these days the Swiss Youth National Music Competition Entrada 2024, the most prestigious annual music contest in Switzerland, took place in various cities across the country. Several students from the Zakhar Bron School of Music participated in it, and we are very proud with the results: ten 1st prizes (with five distinctions), four 2nd and five 3rd prizes secured in different categories. Here are the names of the winners and their teachers:

  • 1st prize: Sophie Branson, class of Liana Tretiakova (Burgdorf, solo violin)
  • 1st prize: Emanuel Reinhardt, class of Alexander Kuznetsov (Arbon, solo violin)
  • 1st prize: Alexandra Taub, class of Liana Tretiakova (Winterthur, solo violin)
  • 1st prize: Theofania Archontopoulou, class of Payam Taghadossi (Hünnenberg, solo cello)
  • 1st prize: Benjamin Branson, class of Payam Taghadossi (Hünnenberg, solo cello)
  • 2nd prize: Katharina Filimonova, class of Inna Khriplovich (Winterthur, solo violin)
  • 2nd prize: Tatjana Filimonova, class of Inna Khriplovich (Winterthur, solo violin)
  • 2nd prize: Eva Solodovska, class of Liana Tretiakova (Hünnenberg, solo violin)
  • 2nd prize: Aurea Wang, class of Inna Khriplovich (Winterthur, solo violin)
  • 3rd prize: Elia Berger, class of Alexander Kuznetsov (Arbon, solo violin)
  • 3rd prize: Marco Bernardis, class of Inna Khriplovich (Winterthur, solo viola)

  • 3rd prize: Xenia Quintin de Kercadio, class of Alexander Kuznetsov (Arbon, solo violin)
