Aurea Luoning Wang

Aurea Luoning Wang was born in Zurich in 2012. She grew up in a musical family and began playing the violin at the age of four. Both of her parents are professional musicians, and their love for music greatly influenced Aurea.

Since September 2019, Aurea has been studying at the Zakhar Bron School of Music with Inna Khriplovich. Aurea has received awards in both national and international music competitions. For instance, in 2022, she won the 1st Prize (Solo Violin) at the Swiss Youth Music Competition Entrada. In 2022, she also achieved 1st Prize at the 6th International competition Nouvelles Etoiles in Paris. In 2023, Aurea won 1st Prize with distinction at the Swiss Youth Music Competition Entrada in the chamber music category and 2nd prize in the Finals of this competition. In 2023, she collaborated with the Zurich Chamber Philharmonic at the Golden Festival in Herrliberg and performed Sarasate’s “Introduction and Tarantella.”
