Kimia Corke was born in 2011 and lives in Geneva. She joined the studio of Liana Tretiakova at the Zakhar Bron School of Music in 2021. Kimia won two 1st prizes with distinction at the Swiss Youth National Music Competition 2021 in both the Entrada and the Finale.

Kimia has been playing the violin since the age of four. She has participated in numerous concerts since the early age and after joining the ZBSM won several national and international competitions:

• 1st prize at the Cantonal Baroque Competition in Sion (February 2021)
• 1st prize at the 9th edition of New York Artists International Competition (March 2021)
• 1st prize with distinction at the Swiss Youth National Music Competition 2021 Entrada (March 2021)
• 1st prize with distinction at the Swiss Youth National Music Competition 2021 Finale (May 2021)

After winning two first prizes with distinction at the SYNMC 2021, Kimia performed at the competition gala concert as part of the ZBSM award-winning trio East & West.
