Nikita Koller

Nikita was born in Wales (UK) into a family of Swiss and Russian historians. He entered the Zakhar Bron School of Music in the studio of Inna Khriplovich in 2018 at the age of eight. Nikita won the first prize at the Zurich Music Competition 2019.

Nikita’s love for violin and his intensive practicing allowed him to start performing on stage almost straight away. He already participated at the Erlenbacher Music Festival 2018 and ZBSM Festival “Children play for children” in 2019.

In June 2019, Nikita studied at the Monaco String Academy under the patronage of Maxim Vengerov, where he also performed at the closing concert.

In February 2020, Nikita made his debut as a soloist with the orchestra Capella Sonorus in Minsk (Belarus), under the baton of Mourad Assouil and played Kreisler’s “Praeludium and Allegro”.

Nikita regularly participates in the ZBSM master classes in Zurich and also in St. Moritz. He took lessons with such professors as Sergei Ostrovsky, Alexandra Soumm, Latica Honda-Rosenberg, Esther Hoppe, Yuri Zhislin and Priya Mitchell.

Nikita is also a devoted chess player, which he plays competitively.
