Moe Zürcher

Moe was born in 2004 in Aarau. She joined ZBSM in 2015 as a student of Nadezhda Korshakova and has been a student of Liana Tretiakova since 2016. Moe is the winner of the Aargau Competition 2018 and the Swiss Youth Music Competition 2019 Entrada (with distinction) and Finale in the category chamber music.

Moe has performed at the Zaubersee Festival in Lucerne and as a soloist with the “Capella Sonorus” symphony orchestra in Belarus. She has taken part in master classes of such famous professors as Zakhar Bron, Maxim Vengerov, Daniel Hope, Boris Garlitsky and Sayaka Shoji.

As a winner of the Swiss National Youth Music Competition in the chamber music category, Moe has a wide concert experience. She performed at the ZBSM concerts at the Menton Festival 2018 and also in the open concerts at the Villa Boveri (Baden), Theater Stok (Zurich) and Zunfthaus zur Waag (Zurich). At the invitation of the Russian Embassy in Switzerland, she also performed in the Yehudi Menuhin Forum in Bern.

In November 2018 Moe won the first prize with distinction at the Aargauer Music Competition with the highest possible score. She was subsequently invited to perform at the Aargauer Kongresshaus.

In the summer 2019 Moe took part at the String Academy in Monaco under the patronage of Maxim Vengerov, where she performed at the closing Gala Concert. She also attended the ZBSM master class in St. Moritz.

In August 2019 Moe made her debut as a soloist with the chamber orchestra “Soloists of Neuchatel” under the baton of Sergei Ostrovsky with the Havanaise of Saint-Saens. In February 2020 Moe appeared with the “Capella Sonorus” symphony orchestra in Minsk (Belarus) and played Mozart’s 4th Violin Concerto.
