Louis Watson is 15 years old and comes from the United States of America. He began to study violin at the age of four at the London Suzuki Group, and attended the studios of the British Suzuki Institute teacher Cara Vella and the BSI Chairperson Hannah Biss.

He performed as a soloist at the North London Music Festival, Royal College of Music and Royal Festival Hall. Louis also took part in many orchestral and chamber music formations. In 2012 he won the Hall School Music Competition in both solo and quartet nominations.

Louis attended the 2014 Interlaken Suzuki Masterclass, where he studied with Liana Tretiakova and in 2015, 2016 and 2017 Louis studied at the Cadenza Summer School in the UK.

Since 2013 Louis lives in Santa Fe, USA and from 2015 he is studying with Richard Rood. He performs actively in various venues of Santa Fe, where he was awarded the Epic Artist Performance Prize.
