Ilva Eigus in the Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow

Thanks to the generous support of the Vladimir Spivakov Foundation, a concert of young soloists took place in the Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theater on June 3rd. The concert has been a highlight of the international annual festival „Moscow Meets Friends“.

This year’s festival participants came from 38 countries. The Zakhar Bron School of Music was represented by the eight year old violinist Ilva Eigus from Zurich. She debuted in Moscow with three preludes by D.Shostakovich accompanied by the professor of the Gnesin Academy Sviatoslav Khitev.

The brilliance and virtuosity of the young violinist as well as the nuanced sound palette and poised maturity of the pianist will no doubt remain in the memory of the enthusiastic audience. We wish Ilva Eigus and Sviatoslav Khitev much success in continuing their musical collaboration and new projects!
