On the last Saturday in October 2018 young soloists of the Zakhar Bron School of Music gave a classical concert at the Erlenbacher Music Festival.
On this wonderful autumn day eight students of the Zakhar Bron Music School presented their new program in the banquet hall of the Turmgut Erlenbach on the Gold Coast of Lake Zurich. The performances included pieces in the Baroque (J.S. Bach and Carl Ph. E. Bach) and Romantic styles (Wieniawski, Lalo and Bruch). The concert concluded with the Mazurka by the Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev, played by the talented young violinist Moe Zürcher (studio of Liana Tretiakova). The audience warmly welcomed the young musicians – many of whom had already won prizes at renowned international competitions – and thanked them with long applause after the concert.
The administration of the Zakhar Bron Music School thanks Dr. Marc Blessing, the president of our school, for organizing this unique event, which was not only an enrichment for the festival, but also a milestone for the young participants in preparing for the important concerts with the Spivakov Foundation in November.
