5 ZBSM Violinists Perform With the ‘Soloists from Neuchâtel’ Chamber Orchestra in Geneva — With Video

On February 9th, 2017, talented young violinists from Switzerland performed as soloists with the 'Soloists from Neuchâtel' chamber orchestra under the baton of Maestro Sergei Ostrovsky.

Our students Sophie Branson, Ilva Eigus, Estelle Presler and the ZBSM alumna Romane Favia had a chance to perform at the beautiful old theatre “Les Salons” in Geneva. All the soloists who represented the Zakhar Bron School of Music come from the studio of Liana Tretiakova.

The concert was opened by the six year old Estelle Presler, who presented Kreisler’s Preludium and Allegro in the style of Pugnani. Ilva Eigus amazed the audience with a virtuosic performance of the Introduction and Tarantella by Sarasate. Sophie Branson made a big emotional impact with the music of Vitali’s Chaconne.

This concert served as a perfect trampoline for the Siberian Tour 2017, which took place from February 12-25 in Omsk and Novosibirsk.
