Winter Violin Masterclass by Liana Tretiakova in Zurich

Liana Tretiakova has more than 20 years of experience of working with talented young violinists. Many of her students have already won top prizes at various international competitions, and appear at the music festivals in Switzerland and abroad.

Liana Tretiakova is a co-founder and Principal of the school, dedicated to the upbringing of young violinists. Many of her students have already won top prizes at various international competitions, and appear at the music festivals in Switzerland and abroad. Liana is an alumnus of Professor Bron and was assisting him for 10 years working with young students at various masterclasses around the world.

Liana began her studies at the Shebalin Music College in Omsk with Prof. Mark Uritsky and continued at the Novosibirsk Music Conservatory with Prof. Marina Koifman. Later Liana studied at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid and at the Zurich University of the Arts with Professor Zakhar Bron and with Professor Ulrich Groener (Performers and Pedagogical Diplomas).

While studying for her Certificate of Advanced Studies in Performance with Professor Gröner, Liana specialized in virtuoso Baroque repertoire, as well as the classical and early romantic styles of German repertoire.

At the Zakhar Bron School of Music, Liana Tretiakova teaches violin to children and teenagers (advanced and professional programs). She is a prizewinner of international chamber music competitions, such as „European Music Competition“ and „Grazia Vivaldi Competition“.
