Sophie was born in 2012 into a family of musicians in Zurich. She became a student of Liana Tretiakova at the Zakhar Bron School of Music in 2017.

Sophie is a prize winner of the international competition ‘London Young Musician’ 2020/21 (UK) and the Swiss Youth National Music Competition Entrada and Finale 2019 and 2021 in the chamber music category.

As part of the Amabile Trio (class of Inna Khriplovich) with ZBSM students Theofania Archontopoulou (cello) and Tatjana Filimonova (violin) Sophie was invited to perform at numerous international festivals and academies – including Paris, Riga and Vitznau to name a few.

Sophie took part in the ZBSM master classes of Professor Miriam Contzen, and Xiaoming Wang at the Ming Classics. In 2021, as part of a violin duo with Tatjana Filimonova, Sophie was a winner of the online edition of the 6th international festival ‘Stage4Kids’ and took part of the online winners’ concert, together with young talents from 22 countries.
