Nina Gringolts

Nina was born in 2008 into a family of musicians in Zurich. She became a student of Liana Tretiakova at the ZBSM in 2013. Nina is a prize winner of the international competition "Premio di Padova" 2018 (Italy) and winner of the Swiss Youth Music Competition 2019 Entrada and Finale (with distinction) in the chamber music category.

As a duo with a ZBSM cello student Benjamin Branson, Nina was also invited to perform at the international festival “Stage for Kids” in Hamburg in February 2020.

In the summer 2018 Nina took part in the master class of the Zakhar Bron School of Music at the Menton Music Festival, where she took classes with Liana Tretiakova and Boris Garlitsky. Nina performed as a soloist in the open concerts of the master class and appeared in the violin ensemble in the concert at the Cocteau Museum within the frame of the Menton Music Festival chamber music series.

In the school year 2019/2020 Nina took part in the ZBSM master classes of Daniel Hope and the professors Latica Honda-Rosenberg and Esther Hoppe. In September 2019 Nina made her debut as a soloist with orchestra in Minsk, Belarus, and performed Vitali’s Chaconne with the Capella Sonorus under the baton of Mourad Assouil.

Nina regularly appears as a soloist at the ZBSM concerts in the Villa Boveri (Baden), the Theater Stok (Zurich), the Zunfthaus zur Waag (Zurich), the Zug City Hall, the Kongresshaus and the Helferei Cultural Center in Zurich.
