Katya was born in 2009 in Zurich into a musical family. She began her musical studies at the age of five. In 2019 Katya won the Swiss Youth Music Competition Entrada, received the second prize at the SYMC Finale and the first prize at the Zurich Music Competition.

In autumn 2019 Katya took part in the ZBSM master class of the famous piano pedagogue Mira Marchenko and performed at the Gala Concert of the ZBSM Festival “Children play for children”.

Katya took part at the open concerts of the school at the Villa Boveri (Baden), Klus Kappelle and Zunfthaus zur Waag in Zurich.
